I started with the Coulson Organisation back in the summer of 2008. I was given the opportunity to really learn the industry of direct marketing and develop at a fast pace. Through Coulson Organisation’s business development program Joe Arkley, the person responsible for my training was promoted to ownership. Dave Coulson invested into Joe the education and finance to open a new marketing, which I gladly took the opportunity to join. The new company has been a platform in which I’ve been able to develop many skills and help my future business plans. I have not only enjoyed a great income but I have also been part of a 600% growth of the business in a very difficult financial climate.

Doing any form of direct marketing successfully requires a strong morale centre and a great team of people, both of which I believe are our strengths.

I have helped to cultivate an environment making sure that the clients we represent not only have a huge volume of customer acquisition but also everyone that meets a member of our team, meets someone well-presented and well informed, leaving the customer with a positive experience.
Dave and Joe have allowed me to expand skills in team building, coaching and full campaign co-ordination. Most importantly I’ve been able to learn a diverse range of business skills that will inevitably help me with running my own Marketing Company.

Within the organisation I have now been given the full financial backing to expand and head up a new marketing team on my own.

I am very grateful to my mentors – Joe Arkley and David Coulson for providing me with the opportunity to work in such a great and fun environment where hard work and aspiration are encouraged and rewarded. I will provide the same opportunity onto others who join the organisation.

Charity Scams

My Time With Coulson Organisation

My time with the Coulson Organisation initially commenced in late 2006. Before this I was a manager for a well known retail company. After a few years I decided to move on to something a bit more challenging.

By chance I came across Coulson Organisation through an advert in the paper. Quite often you hear about adverts like this and scams, thankfully I still went for an interview to find out more.

The first thing I noticed about the business was the incredibly fun and enjoyable environment. I was also very impressed by the selfless support offered by everybody I met. This was the complete opposite experience I’d had to my job in the shoe shop. The ethics of the company and the people I were now working with gave me confidence that I was now finally on the right career path. I especially loved the fact that this business offers a fast paced environment with the opportunity to progress at your own individual rate.

My initial progression was incredibly quick within the business however I did come across challenges. The challenges I faced were due to the fact that I had no previous experience working in the industry and still had a lot of skills I was yet to develop. The financial rewards together with the fact I had the support of my colleagues and the Coulson Organisation Managing Director meant that I was able to overcome these challenges quickly.

The skills I have now developed have not just helped me with my career but also my personal life. I have had the opportunity to travel to many different cities and countries and now that I have completed the Business Development Programme I have access to much larger opportunities and find myself having the lifestyle I always wanted.

I am not just grateful for the time effort and money invested into me but also the little bit of luck I had on discovering the business.
